<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium having two recording layer structures wherein satisfactory recording and reproducing characteristics can be obtained in both layer structures by enhancing the light transmissivity of a first recording layer structure and lessening the difference between transmissivities of a recording layer in a crystal state and an amorphous state. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical information recording medium which has a structure wherein a transparent substrate 2, the first recording layer structure 4, a separation layer 6, a second recording layer structure 8, and a substrate 10 are layered in this order and wherein recording and erasure of information are performed in the first and the second recording layer structures by irradiation of a laser beam L from the side of the transparent substrate, an optical adjustment layer 20 consisting of a transmissivity increasing function layer 20a having a function to increase the transmissivity and a transmissivity adjusting function layer 20b having a function to adjust the transmissivity is provided in the first recording layer structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
