PURPOSE: A device for quickly connecting a call in a mobile communication system is provided to immediately perform a resource assignment process of a base station as soon as a dial-input is started while setting a call, and to assign resources of an MSC when the dial-input is completed, thereby quickly setting the call. CONSTITUTION: As soon as a user inputs a telephone number of a receiver(100), an MS(Mobile Station) transmits an origination message that does not include the telephone number of the receiver to the base station(110). If a channel assignment message is received from the base station(120), the terminal performs a channel and service negotiation of a wireless section(130). The terminal sets a channel for performing communication by a traffic channel, and transmits a preamble to the base station through the traffic channel. If a base station response order is received, the terminal carries out a service negotiation with the base station. If the user inputs the telephone number and presses a send button(140), the terminal transmits an origination continuation message that includes the telephone number to the base station(150).
