<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated type security system in a safety system embedded or integrated functionally and logically in/with a process control system in a process plant. <P>SOLUTION: This diagnosis is provided with computers, a process controller communication-connected to the computer for executing a process control function using a process control field device, a safety system controller communication-connected to the computer for executing a safety system function using a safety system field device, a security database for storing access privileges as to the both functions, and an integrated type security application allowing accesses to both the process controller and the safety system controller using a process control system message and a safety system message, based on the access privileges stored in the security database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
