PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inside resin-coated steel drum capable of preventing a coated layer on an inside of the drum from being cracked or peeled without increasing the working cost or the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: [1] In the steel drum with an inside thereof resin-coated, a joining portion of a barrel body to constitute a drum body with at least a bottom plate or a top plate is welded over the entire circumference. [2] In [1] above, a weld part is formed by electric resistance welding. [3] In [1] or [2] above, the resin coated on the inside is one or two or more kinds of resin selected from a polyethylene resin, a polypropylene resin, nylon resin, fluoro plastic, a polyester resin, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, an ethylene ethylacrylate resin, a vinyl chloride resin, and a modified resin thereof.
