An arrangement for moving a liquid in a liquid-liquid extraction column comprises a pulsation tube (1) located in the column via a pipe which extends into the column and which is bent at the top. The pulsation tube column system is supplied with short excitation impulses, which cause fluid oscillation in the resonance region. The amplitude of the oscillation is controlled by the initial pressure of the pulse transducer (2). The unit has a plate vibration extractor, where the plate (4) is located in the column. The pulsation tube contains a gas cushion (3).
