PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of an erroneous output of an accelerator sensor at the time of reverse kicking of an accelerator pedal. SOLUTION: The accelerator sensor 15 of this accelerator device is provided in a sensor case 18. The accelerator sensor 15 includes a sensor lever 15a rotating, interlocking with the operation of the accelerator pedal so as to be operated between a fully closing position and a fully opening position and outputs the rotational amount of the lever 15a as an accelerator opening. The sensor lever 15a rotates in a positive direction X when the accelerator pedal is operated in a fully opening direction, and rotates in a reverse direction Y when the accelerator pedal is operated in a fully closing direction. In the inner wall of the sensor case 18, a sensor lever stopper 26 is provided for regulating the reverse rotation in the Y direction of the sensor lever 15a when the accelerating pedal position is at the full closed position.
