<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a timeout error of an information processor according to the operating state of a recording device even if the recording device in an ink jet recording system rejects transfer of recording data transferred from the information processor. <P>SOLUTION: When recording data to be recorded in the recording device are generated, transfer propriety information indicating the propriety of transfer of recording data reported from the recording device and operation information indicating the operating state of the recording device are examined prior to transfer of the generated recording data to the recording device. When the recording device is under restoration operation or ink-fixation waiting, the transfer of recording data is controlled so as to wait until such an operation is ended while preventing the timeout of the information processor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
