PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is necessary to purchase and set individually equipment such as a LAN adapter, a router and a VOIP adapter since a system of a telephone set using a conventional Internet-dedicated telephone set is constituted by combining the individual LAN adapter, router and VOIP adapter. SOLUTION: The Internet telephone system is provided with; a telephone circuit having a function of an analog telephone set of a public line; a selection connection circuit switching whether to connect the telephone circuit to the Internet or to a public telephone line, the VOIP adapter having a function performing digital processing for connecting an analog signal such as a sound in the telephone circuit to the Internet and receiving a signal from an Internet circuit network; and a control circuit controlling selection switching whether to connect the telephone set to the Internet or to the public telephone line and performing a signal processing when the analog signal of the telephone circuit is connected to the Internet.
