PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid injection valve prevented from biting a foreign substance and high in productivity and valve density. SOLUTION: A needle head 50 is provided with a spherical part 51 having a spherical surface-like outer wall and a first spherical part 52 and a second spherical part 53 having respective spherical surface-like outer walls. A seat part 54 capable of seating on the valve seat of a valve body is formed at the first spherical part 52. Since the needle head 50 has the spherical part 51, entrance of a foreign substance to the vicinity of the seat part 54 through a gap between the side of a needle 40 and the inner peripheral surface of the valve body is prevented. And, since the needle head 50 is obtained by molding a spherical member in a columnar shape, roundness of the fist spherical part 52 is secured easily and in high precision, and productivity can be improved. Further, since the seat part 54 is formed at the first spherical part 52, a gap is difficult to be formed between the seat part 54 and the valve seat even if the needle 40 is tilted, and valve density can be improved.
