<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel rocking type carbonization furnace excellent in durability and easy to control carbonization temperature. <P>SOLUTION: This carbonization furnace comprises a conical trapezoidal furnace body, a feed inlet and an ignition port equipped on the smaller diameter side of the furnace, and a plurality of air blowing holes for carbonization equipped on the peripheral of the lower part of the furnace, and a plurality of rings having the same diameter with the peripheral are fixed separately each other along the axis of the carbonization furnace and the furnace is supported with its axis horizontally by the rings, and at least one of the rings is equipped with a driving system to rock the furnace body via the ring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
