PURPOSE: A fluid dynamic bearing motor is provided to reduce the size of the motor and effectively prevent vibrations by using a cone bearing. CONSTITUTION: A fluid dynamic bearing motor comprises a fixed member, and a rotatable member supported by a bearing support member using a fluid dynamic pressure. The bearing support member is a cone bearing(310) for supporting the rotatable member simultaneously in a rotating direction and the direction perpendicular to a rotating shaft. The fixed member includes a housing(110) having a hole, a rib(111), and a core(130) arranged at the outer surface of the rib; a sleeve(120) coupled to the hole of the housing, and which has a through hole and an accommodating groove(123); and a cover plate(180) coupled to the bottom of the through hole of the sleeve. The rotatable member includes a shaft(140) having a flange coupled to the accommodating groove of the sleeve; a cover block(190) coupled to the top of the shaft, and which has a conical outer surface(191) corresponding to a conical inner surface(121) of the sleeve; and a hub(150) having a center connected to the cover block, and a magnet(160) for generating electromagnetic forces through the cooperation with the core.
