PURPOSE: Provided is a UV curable coating composition, which shows excellent weather resistance and adhesion of long duration when coated on plastic materials, particularly on polycarbonate materials for car head lamps. CONSTITUTION: The UV curable coating composition comprises: 10-70 wt% of a urethane acrylate oligomer represented by formula 1; 10-30 wt% of an alkoxy-modified multifunctional monomer; 10-50 wt% of a reactive acrylic monomer; 0.1-20 wt% of a photoinitiator; 1-10 wt% of a reactive UV absorber; 10 wt% or less of a leveling agent; and a small amount of additives, wherein R3 is an aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic compound, or oligomers thereof, X is a hydroxyl-containing acrylate represented by formula 3, and Y is polytetrahydrofuran represented by formula 2. In formula 2, n is an integer of 7-22. In formula 3, R1 is H or CH3, and R2 is a C2-C6 alkylene. |
