PURPOSE: A structure for an optical signal processing chip and an optical mouse using the chip are provided to prevent incident light from radiating a logic circuit and an analog circuit and to extend an effective area of the incident light. CONSTITUTION: The chip realizes the analog circuit(14) and the logic circuit(16) on a substrate having the same width as one side of an optical sensor(12). The optical sensor(12) has a rectangular structure and is arranged to one side of the substrate. As arranging the analog circuit(14) between the logic circuit(16) and the optical sensor(12), the incident light does not influence on the logic circuit(16). As a light shielding layer(18) is formed on the analog circuit(14), the detection accuracy of a motion vector is increased by preventing leakage current due to the incident light.
