The device has a scale (1) with a groove (2) in which a cutting blade (6) is arranged. Two strips (3, 4) in square shape are arranged at one of the ends of the device. One strip (3) enables to hold wallpaper straight and the other strip (4) enables the paper to glide under the strip (4) to persist. Two orifices are situated at the ends of the scale for fixing to the scale.
