The paint sprayer (1) has a spray head (3) with a paint channel (5) in it which at an outer end issues into a paint sprayer aperture (7) and is connected to a paint feed aperture (9). The spray head at the front has an air channel (11), which at an outer end issues into an air blowing aperture (13) and is connected with an air feed aperture (15). In the paint channel is a needle (17), which with a point (19) is located in or near the paint sprayer aperture. In the air channel is a body (21) which is coupled with the needle. Through the flow of air through the air channel, the body is displaced and the needle is moved out of the paint sprayer aperture.
