PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of increasing the speed of an anti-aliasing process of graphics and optionally setting the level of anti-aliasing effect. SOLUTION: When drawing graphics on a frame buffer 22 on which picture data of the background is developed, the half tone between the color of a first pixel of a portion of the background contacting the outline of the graphic and the color of a second pixel of the outline portion of the graphic contacting the first pixel is calculated and stored in a halftone storing region 25. The number of N of colors of pixels at the background portion including the first pixel, ranging along the outline of the graphic are respectively overwritten by the halftones stored in the halftone storing region 25. N is two or larger integer, which is optionally determined. Therefore, the number of halftone calculations at the time of anti-aliasing on the graphics can be reduced and high speed drawing can be realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
