PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure of a battery housing, demonstrating a waterproof function excellent in durability, without impairing operability in a conventional battery holder. SOLUTION: The waterproof structure of a battery housing comprises a rotatable battery holder 8 which is rotated into an open position to hold a button type air battery 4 and then rotated into a closed position to house the button type air battery 4. The battery holder 8 comprises a battery holder core 11 and an elastic cover member 12 for covering the battery holder core 11 and for covering and holding the air battery 4.
