PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly carry out a continuous driving of a steel sheet pile into a soft rock layer, lap drilling by an auger screw and steel sheet pile driving with a low energy consumption. SOLUTION: A vibrating auger machine 1 wherein a rotary work and a vibrating work are simultaneously operated by separate driving systems is used. A section guide 4 is attached to an auger screw 2. An auger work executes lap drilling C2 under an engagement guide of a section guide 4 with a driven-finished steel sheet pile PE. In a case a progress of the drilling by the auger screw is hindered by a rolling stone or the like, a vertical vibrating action is added to the auger screw 2 in the rotary action so that the drilling proceeding by the auger screw 2 is encouraged.
