<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a inkjet recording ink together having fungicidal properties, storage stability, and high-speed printing characteristics on plain paper, especially having excellent discharge stability and storage stability even when printed on the plain paper at a high speed, to provide a recording method using the ink, to provide an ink cartrige receiving the ink, and to provide a recording device filled with the ink. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording ink contains a polymer emulsion formed by making polymer fine particles contain a colorant insoluble or slightly soluble in water, wherein the ink contains one or more kinds of wetting agents selected from glycerol and other specified polyhydric alcohols, further contains at least an 8-11C polyol or glycol ether, an anionic or nonionic surfactant, and water, and furthermore contains 1, 2-benzisothiazolin-3-one as a fungicide in an amount of 0.01-0.04 pt.wt. based on the total amount of the ink, and has a viscosity of ≥5 mPa sec at 25°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
