PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active water cleaner constituted so as to efficiently activate daily used water and made compact so as to be installed on the sink of a kitchen. SOLUTION: The active water cleaner is equipped with a container body provided with an almost cylindrical peripheral wall and the inner peripheral wall concentric to the peripheral wall, demarcated chambers formed by partitioning the space between both peripheral walls by a plurality of boundary walls, a water guide port for guiding water to one of the demarcated chambers, the central cylinder provided inside the inner peripheral wall, a lid member, provided with a water feed-out port, covering the container body, the shielding plate provided inside the lid member and having a recessed part formed thereto so as to straddle the predetermined place of the boundary wall to form water passages comprising the upper parts of the demarcated chambers, the bottrom member for covering the bottom part of the container body, the bottom side shielding plate provided inside the bottom member and having a recessed part formed thereto so as to straddle the predetermined place of the boundary wall to form water passages comprising the lower parts of the demarcated chambers and a water activating material for filling at least one of the demarcated chambers.
