<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a motor control system in which operating condition before power interruption is stored when power is interrupted and restart control is carried out based on that data. <P>SOLUTION: A decision is made that power is interrupted when the power supply voltage drops below a specified power failure detection level Vs, and operating condition of a motor is stored in an EEPROM when power is interrupted. The motor is subjected to drive control based on the operating condition information written in the EEPROM when it is started next time. The power failure detection level Vs is altered appropriately depending on the load of the motor and it is set at 25V for a light motor load and set at 15V for a heavy motor load. A time T<SB>2</SB>can thereby be ensured after a decision is made that power is interrupted before a CPU is shut down even under a light load and current operating condition can be written in the EEPROM without using a capacitor having a large capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
