PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To periodically check the reading/writing of a storage medium. SOLUTION: One of a plurality of tasks to be executed by normal processing is made to include RAM check processing for deciding whether or not the reading/writing of data is normally executed to a data readable/writable storage medium. Thus, it is possible to periodically check RAM without limiting it to a start processing time or end processing time. Also, when the RAM check processing is executed, all the task execution other than a normal task including the RAM check processing is inhibited.
