摘要 PURPOSE: A device for detecting an ADIP(Address In Pre-groove) synchronization for an optical recording apparatus is provided to use a margin mode having more flexible detection patterns than a normal mode when detecting an ADIP synchronization, thereby increasing a possibility of detecting the ADIP synchronization. CONSTITUTION: An ADIP synchronization detector(30) consists of an ADIP bit synchronization detector(50) and an ADIP word synchronization detector(60). The ADIP bit synchronization detector(50) detects an ADIP bit synchronization, detects an exact position where an ADIP signal exists, and prevents a bit synchronization from being detected in an abnormal position. The ADIP word synchronization detector(60) detects an ADIP word synchronization, and recovers the detected ADIP word synchronization. An ADIP data decider(70) decides whether ADIP data has a '0' value or a '1' value, and transmits decided results to an ADIP ECC decoder(80).
