A flat metal or composite material article (150) has an adhesive (20) on one side and a colored coating (40) on the other side or is structured on both sides. A flat article (150) consists of a metal (151), such as copper, zinc, aluminum or lead optionally combined with one another or with a plastic film, or of a composite material (100) of an extruded or rolled lead-based foil or sheet which has, on one side, an adhesive coating (20) with an external removable protective sheet (30) and, on the other side, a colored coating (40), preferably a colored lacquer layer. An Independent claim is included for a flat article (150) consisting of the metal (151) or composite material described above, structured on both sides to allow deformation and bending along all spatial coordinates, and optionally also provided with a colored coating (40). Preferred Features: The adhesive is a bitumen-based cold adhesive.
