OPTICAL SHEET, BACK LIGHT ASSEMBLY INCLUDING THE SAME, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An optical sheet, a back light assembly including the optical sheet, and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having the back light assembly are provided to minimize light loss caused by reflection of light. CONSTITUTION: An optical sheet(100) includes an optical sheet body(110), and a low-refraction thin film(120). The optical sheet body has a light incident face(112) that comes into contact with the air and receives lights that have passed the air, and a light projecting face(114) that comes into contact with the air and projects light to the air. The low-refraction thin film is coated on the light incident face and has a refractive index smaller than a refractive index of the light incident face and larger than the refractive index of the air. The thin film reduces loss of light, caused by reflection of light arrived at the light incident face.
