FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, otorhinolaryngology. ^ SUBSTANCE: adenotome has casing made in the form of tube with working end curved in radial direction. Tube is equipped with window on outer side of curved part. Window has cutting edge formed on its upper edge and pipe for connecting to vacuum pump of aspiration device. Aspiration device is positioned at tube end. Pipe for connecting to supersonic generator is arranged in parallel with tube axis. Tube end is curved to form handle. Tube end is made blind and has spherical outer surface for squeezing of bleeding vessels. Knife with upper and lower cutting edges is rigidly fixed in window to side edges. Adenotome of such construction is recurrence preventive apparatus allowing postoperative complications to be avoided. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and simplified construction. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg
