PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to variably supply storage voltages and gate-low voltages in the shape of lamp waves by 2-frame period for compensating the voltage drop due to the current leakage when keeping pixel voltages, thereby improving the picture quality. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel(16) formed with a plurality of pixels connected to a plurality of data and gate lines intersecting each other, a timing controller(12) for generating timing signals for applying signals input from the outside to the LCD panel, gate and data drivers(15,14) for displaying images on the LCD panel corresponding data by receiving the timing signals from the timing controller, and a lamp wave generating part(17) for applying a gate voltage and a storage voltage to the gate lines in the shape of lamp wave.
