PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin-spindle shearing disintegrator which can surely detect excess materials to be disintegrated during conveyance of them on a belt conveyor below the disintegrator and provided with an excess load detection means which is hardly damaged. SOLUTION: The excess load detection means (20) for detecting the excess materials to be disintegrated loaded on the belt conveyor (7) disposed at the lower part of the twin-spindle shearing type disintegrator (5) detects directly the excess materials to be disintegrated. Detection sensors (21, 22, 23, 24) of the excess load detection means (20) are attached at the predetermined height of positions above the belt conveyor (7) and in the side to the stream direction of the belt conveyor (7). A plurality of positions are preferrably installed. A detection sensor (25) may be installed at the opposed side of a discharge side in a longitudinal direction of the belt conveyor (7).
