PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to detect the type of sheet material even if no information such as numeric code is not attached to the sheet material in advance, and to detect the moisture content of the sheet material. SOLUTION: As the voltage of information acquisition method B2varies when external force is applied to the sheet material P in external force application part C, mechanical property of sheet material P can be detected. Also, as for conductive material 3a of detection section B1, electrical resistivity varies according to moisture content. Therefore, moisture content of sheet material can be detected.
