PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust sound controlling device which can reduce noises of an entire vehicle and which can effectively control sound without sacrificing traveling performance by performing sound control of the vehicle depending on circumstances such as time, place and purpose. SOLUTION: The exhaust sound controlling device 1 comprises an exhaust valve 13 for changing a muffler 6 between a silencing mode and a power mode, an exhaust actuator 12 and a controller 11. In this device, there is provided a navigation device 2 for detecting location information of the vehicle, and the controller 11 controls the exhaust actuator 12 to vary a silencing condition responsively to the location information of the vehicle detected by the navigation device 2.
