<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire marking system which reads a bar code from the bar code label pasted on a tire and receives data necessary for marking from the data base of a main data processor of an on-line system on the basis of the read bar code data to carve a discrimination mark in the tire. <P>SOLUTION: The tire marking system 1 is constituted of at least one or more tire marking devices 10A, 10B and 10C (not limited in its number in this embodiment), which read the bar code from the bar code label Z pasted on the tire W as shown by Fig. 2 and carve the discrimination mark M comprising one of a character, a figure and mark or a combination of them in the tire W on the basis of the read bar code data, and the main data processor 20.
