<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain power supply at all times by performing a quick tackling action at fault of a voltage converter while securing the stable operation of the voltage converter at normality, in a circuit which supplies power from a power supply mounted on a car to load for low voltage via the voltage converter. <P>SOLUTION: In the circuit which supplies power from the power source mounted on a car such as an alternator 10 or the like to the load mounted on a car via a plurality of DC/DC converters 16-18, opening and closing switches 22 and 24 are interposed between the fellow circuits on the output side of each converter 16-18, and each opening and closing switch 22 and 24 is opened in advance at normality. A control unit 26 monitors the presence of fault of each converter 16-18, and when it judges any one to be faulty, it closes an appropriate opening and closing switch 22 or 24 so that power may be supplied to the circuit on output side from other converters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
