PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic suspension supporting device for effectively suspension supporting a suspended body while miniaturizing the device by shortening a magnetic circuit formed between an electromagnet of a body and a permanent magnet of the suspended body to improve magnetic efficiency. SOLUTION: The magnetic suspension supporting device comprises the body having the electromagnet 5, the suspended body 15 having the permanent magnet facing the electromagnet, a detector for detecting the magnetic intensity of the permanent magnet 17, and a control part consisting of a difference output for outputting a signal corresponding to a difference between the magnetic intensity detected by the detector and preset reference magnetic intensity, a phase shifter for shifting a preset amount of phase of the signal from the difference output and a current supply means for changing a current value applied from a power supply to the electromagnet in accordance with the signal phase shifted by the phase shifter. The permanent magnet of the suspended body covers the electromagnet at its surface except a facing plane and has a yoke member 21 forming the magnetic circuit tending to the electromagnet for suspension supporting the suspended body in non-contact with the body with the magnetic field of the electromagnet and the permanent magnet.
