PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a rubber, a silicone rubber or a resin which permits to utilize a living organism-activating action of germanium to a maximum extent. SOLUTION: The rubber, the silicone rubber or the resin material containing germanium is obtained by incorporating 0.01-50 wt% of germanium therewith. The rubber, the silicone rubber or the resin material is admixed with germanium and subsequently molded. The surface of the thus-obtained rubber, silicone rubber, or resin material containing germanium is subjected to a filing, barrel finishing or sandblast treatment, or to a cutting, dissolution or heat treatment to make a part of germanium appear at the surface of the rubber, the silicone rubber or the resin.
