<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box easy to pack in which a glass bottle is hardly broken even when the packaging box is dropped during the transport. <P>SOLUTION: In the packaging box 10, back lids 12 to cover an upper opening 11 of the box in cooperation with each other extend to two opposing sides of an upper edge of the box. Face lids 13 overlapping the back lid 12 with tip portions butted to each other extend to other two opposing sides. Slits 14 are formed in each back lid longitudinally from a tip to the middle thereof. A tongue piece 15 narrower than the face lids which is inserted in the box through the slits 14 extends to a tip center portion of each face lid 13. After the packaging box 10 is accommodated in a bottle A, a perforated plate 30 is passed through a neck of the bottle. Next, the back lids 12 are closed, and the tongue piece 15 is pushed into the slits 14 of the back lids to close the face lids. The tongue piece 15 has the length so that the tip thereof reaches the perforated plate 30.
