PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing body for seedling raising pots in which even cylindrical seedling raising pots are compactly packed and from which the seedling raising pots are smoothly taken out, and to provide a method for packing the seedling raising pots. SOLUTION: A prescribed number of the cylindrical seedling raising pots are arranged to give arranged bodies 5 of the seedling raising pots, which are nipped by storage trays 2, 3 and 4, the side walls of the arranged bodies 5 of the seedling raising pots are compressed and deformed from circular forms when viewed in a plane to rectangular forms made by sides shorter than the diameters of the circular forms and the arranged bodies of the seedling raising pots are packed in the compressed and deformed state. The heights of the storage trays 2, 3 and 4 are made lower than the heights of the seedling raising pots so that the side walls of the arranged bodies 5 of the seedling raising pots are not covered with the storage trays 2, 3 and 4.
