PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-fiber optical connector of securely making a PC (physical contact) connection between optical fibers. SOLUTION: When a connector ferrule 2 is formed of an epoxy resin composition, the multi-fiber optical connector 1 has relationsθ<SB>EL</SB>≤0.25*(F-0.31*12*2)/F-tan<SP>-1</SP>(A<SB>L</SB>/B<SB>L</SB>) andθ<SB>ES</SB>≤0.17*(F-0.31*12*2)/F-tan<SP>-1</SP>(A<SB>S</SB>/B<SB>S</SB>), whereθ<SB>EL</SB>is the quantity of deviation in end surface angle from a design value in the long-side direction of a connection end surface 3,θ<SB>Es</SB>the quantity of deviation in end surface angle from a design value from the short-side direction of the connection end surface 3, A<SB>L</SB>the protrusion length difference between outermost optical fibers 7 in the long-side direction, A<SB>S</SB>the protrusion length difference between outermost optical fibers 7 in the short-side direction, and B<SB>L</SB>the distance between outermost optical fibers 7 in the long-side direction, and B<SB>S</SB>the distance between the outermost optical fibers 7 in the short-side direction.
