PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of preventing a contact part between a wrong fitting prevention member and a mating connector from being abraded in wrong fitting, and of eliminating looseness of the mating connector. SOLUTION: This connector 1 has a housing 10 formed of an insulating member, and a terminal 14 formed of a conductive member. The connector housing 1 has a recessed part 11 formed on the housing 10, and comprises: the wrong fitting prevention members 17 mounted adjacently to the inside surface of the recessed part 11; and pressing parts 20 and 21 mounted to the recessed part 11, and having a fitting hole 16 fitted to a fitting part of the mating connector for pressing the fitting part of the mating connector against the inside of the fitting hole 16.
