PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-resistant pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape which does not evolute in case of incineration any poisonous halogen gas such as chlorine, bromine, etc. and also phosphine gas and does not leave a large amount of ashes, and is excellent in fire retardancy and has both adhesiveness and repeelability, and makes recycle of adherends easier. SOLUTION: The fire-resistant pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape is produced by impregnating a base sheet made of a polyester nonwoven fabric of 15-80 g/m<SP>2</SP>basis weight with a nitrogen containing organic fire retarder containing neither halogen nor antimony and phosphorus and then by providing on the both side of the impregnated polyester nonwoven fabric a layer of an adhesive composed of fire-resistant adhesive composition which is prepared by adding a 20-200 pts.wt. nitrogen containing organic fire retarder containing neither halogen, antimony nor phosphorus to an 100 pts.wt. acrylic-based pressure sensitive adhesive.
