<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an organic chlorine compound, by which the organic chlorine compound can efficiently be produced from an alcohol compound in a nearly neutral mild reaction state in a high yield. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the organic chlorine compound represented by formula (3) (R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each identically or different H, chlorine, a hydrocarbon group or a heterocyclic group, wherein at least two of R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>may be bound to each other to form a ring together with the adjacent carbon atom) comprises reacting an alcohol compound represented by formula (1) with a chlorosilane compound represented by formula (2) (R<SP>4</SP>and R<SP>5</SP>are each identically or differently H, chlorine or a hydrocarbon group) in the presence of an indium compound as a catalyst and in the coexistence of a vicinal diketone compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
