METHOD FOR ANALYZING GENE EXPRESSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing gene expression, and to provide a new use of a receptor protein or the like.

SOLUTION: This method for analyzing the gene expression is characterized by together determining the expression quantities of a plurality of genes, respectively, to identify a gene whose expression is characteristically promoted or reduced in cells or a tissue. A determination kit is used for the method. A method for screening a compound for changing the bondability of the receptor protein or its salt to a ligand is characterized by using a new protein G conjugation type receptor protein containing the same or substantially same amino acid sequence as a specific amino acid sequence originated from an animal or its salt and a protein (for example, lectin) exhibiting affinity with a sugar chain as a ligand.
