PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing float that can adjust its buoyancy as the size of the float (apparent volume) is kept unvariable. SOLUTION: When the lower body 1b of the fishing float is allowed to rotate to the upper body, a bolt 12 is rotated through a rotation-adjusting knob 13 whereby a piston 8 is allowed to move vertically. As a result, the size of the float (the apparent volume) is preserved in varially, but the capacity of a water-receiving chamber 17 can be altered whereby the buoyancy acting on the whole body of the float can be varied. Accordingly, for example, when the float is used at a point, and when a small quantity of weight is to be added, the size of an artificial bait is changed, the sinking speed of an artificial bait is minutely adjusted or when the buoyancy of an artificial bait is to be a little increased or decreased, it can be simply attained without the replacement of the float that the float can be cast at almost same point as the previous one because the size of the float is kept in variably.
