The invention relates to a polyolefin fibre which is used to reinforce products based on fibres and a hydraulically hardening mass. The invention is characterised in that it comprises a finish bearing a forming assist function, a function relating to fibre wettability by the composition of the hydraulically setting mass and a promoter function for promoting adhesion to said hydraulically setting mass. The inventive fibre is used as a reinforcing fibre in a product based on fibres and a hydraulically setting mass.
