<p>The invention relates to a downhole gas trap used in the field of oil production and in petrochemical industry. According to the invention, the downhole gas trap ensures the separation of non-miscible fluids by the fact that the portion of the settling vessel (3) provided with lateral orifices is in the shape of a perforated pipe (21), and during the use, the level (16) of the liquid in the settling vessel (3) varies within a selected zone, said level (16) being positioned below the level of the openings in the perforated pipe (21) and maintained by an automatic control means consisting of some sensors and a control valve (20) mounted on the gas discharge pipe (18) and the settling vessel (3) has an opening for passing the production pipe up to the discharge pump (12) which is provided with a suction pipe (6). The helical strips (23 and 24) are located below the perforated pipe (21) resting on the outer side of the production pipe (22). On the upper portion of the helical channels confined by the helical strips (23 and 24) there are provided some discharge pipes (31).</p> |
