The secateur cutting tool comprises a device for the power transmission and control of a movable cutting blade (3) displacing angularly relative to a fixed blade (2). The movable blade is driven by the end of the rod (5) of a piston (7) moving in the body of an actuator (8) supplied with fluid from a pump (11). A fluid passage control register (15) subject to a manual control push button (16) is interposed between the piston and pump. Operation of the button causes the supply of the pump motor (10) and the communication between the pump and actuator. The single acting actuator is returned to its rest position by the pressure of a neutral gas from a compression chamber (21).
