PURPOSE: A method for making a spherical mirror by using an upper mold and a lower mold is provided to solve the problem of wrinkling of the edge of a spherical mirror, occurring in the prior art. CONSTITUTION: The method for making a spherical mirror from faceted glass(1) comprises the steps of: forming a broad spherical glass from the faceted glass(1) heated to its softening temperature by using a lower mold(3) having a doughnut shape and an upper mold(4) having a spherical surface; depositing aluminum on one surface of the spherical mirror to obtain a broad spherical mirror matrix; and cutting the broad spherical mirror matrix into a plurality of spherical mirrors having a desired size.
