The motor has a number of segments, and a number of feed brushes sliding on them. A short circuit line shorts segments that are touching the feed brushes of the same pole at the same time. The feed brushes of the same pole detach themselves from the short-circuited segments (55a) at different times. Independent claims are included for further motors.
