SOLUTION: A first electric charge signal and a second electric charge signal stored on a pair of first photoelectric conversion sections (PD section 1B and PD section 1C) on adjacent rows are amplified by a common amplifying transistor 11B and are outputted as a first amplified electric charge signal and a second amplified electric charge signal to a common signal output line 39. Meanwhile, a third electric charge signal and a fourth electric charge signal stored on a pair of second photoelectric conversion sections on adjacent rows are amplified by a common amplifying transistor and are outputted as a third amplified electric charge signal and a fourth amplified electric charge signal to a common signal output line 38. The first amplified electric charge signal and the third amplified electric charge signal are outputted at different timing from a first output line.
