PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency mixer which requires a low local oscillator driving level and has high tertiary intercept. SOLUTION: The mixer is provided with an input port for receiving a local oscillator (LO) input signal, a first transistor which has a gate terminal, a drain terminal and a source terminal and in which the gate terminal is connected to the input port and the drain terminal is connected to a high frequency (RF) signal port and an intermediate frequency (IF) signal port, a diplexer circuit for coupling signal energy of a first frequency between the drain terminal and the RF signal port and coupling signal energy of a second frequency between the drain terminal and the IF signal port, and a serial resonance circuit which is connected to the LO input terminal and includes an input induced element and gate/source-inherent capacitance of the first transistor.
