PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy hardened material excellent in hardness, strength and heat resistance, and its producing method. SOLUTION: The composition of the aluminum alloy material is shown with a general chemical composition : Al<SB>bal</SB>Fe<SB>a</SB>X<SB>b</SB>(wherein, X is at least one element selected from Ti, Cr, Zr and a, b are by atomic% of 0.4≤a≤4, 0.2≤b≤8). The above alloy material can be produced by depositing the alloy having the above composition on a substrate with an electron-beam vapor-deposition method. The material obtained with the vapor-deposition is shown as high thermal-stability by adding the above elements having low diffusion speed, but further, the hardness and the strength are risen by integrating and precipitating fine precipitations in crystal grains while applying a heat treatment and/or a hot-plastic work, and the thermal-stability can be improved.
